Saturday, 11 June 2022 (YJC)_ Iranian President hailed the strategic relations between Tehran and Caracas.
Addressing a joint press conference with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro on Satuday, Iranian President Seyed Ebrahim Raiesi hailed the strategic relations between Tehran and Caracas.
The president hailed the strategic relations between two countries, expressed the hope that they will further strengthen their cooperation in future, and noted “By signing a 20-year cooperation document, the two countries would keep up their cooperation.”
He went on to say that “Venezuela’s resistance against imperialism and enemies was exemplary, we have always wanted to be in contact with independent countries.”
Iranian President referred to the recent remarks in the White House and noted “they have confessed that the US’ maximum pressure policy has failed, this is a victory for the Iranian people.”
In this regard, he noted the years of resistance of Venezuelan nation under US sanctions and said “they were determined to stand against the enemies. Venezuela has left hyperinflation behind and resumed economic growth, they proved that resistance had worked.”
“Energy, thermal plants, refinery maintenance, technical and engineering service, economy, defense, and military are the fields of cooperation between Iran and Venezuela,” according to Iranian President.
President Maduro is currently in Iran at the official invitation of President Raiesi.
